Head Coach /Offensive Coordinator

The 2017 season was Rains first season with the Thrashers. He has been coaching for over 30 years, previously with the Farnham Knights before joining Solent. Coach Rains achieved a promotion to the Southern Premiership of British American Football and has 3 National Championships and 7 Conference Championships to name a few. 2019 saw coach rains lead the thrashers to a national championship an promotion to the southern premiership.

Graham Jessett

Former Defensive Coordinator

Head Coach Steve Rains and Graham worked together at the Farnham Knights during the Championship seasons in 2000, 2004 and 2007. coach jessett joined in 2017 and has become a thrashers legend. leading the thrashers to the play-offs in each of his 3 seasons with the club. he leaves the club a d1 champion dc.

Simon Srour

Defensive coordinator

Simon joins the Solent Thrashers from the Farnham Knights for the 2019 season. He is a former National Championship Player at junior and adult level as well as being a former National Junior Championship Winning Head Coach.

Chris Howard

Special Teams Coordinator /Running Back Coach

The Solent Thrashers announced the addition of Chris Howard to their coaching staff in 2018. Chris, after spending a considerable time with the Farnham Knights where he was most recently Head Coach of the Youth and Junior teams Chris joins the Thrashers as the SpecialTeams Co-ordinator and Running Backs Coach.
