The Thrashers Family are extremely proud of our very own DE, Jason Oluwa for going Pro after signing for GFL1 side Hildesheim Invaders!
We caught up with Jason who had a few words to share;
“My time with the Thrashers has honestly been the best two years of my life, it’s more than a football club - it’s a family. I’m going to miss my family. I can’t wait to watch them tear up the premiership division.”
Head Coach Steve Rains said, “Although we are sorry to lose him we are delighted for Jason Oluwa - moving from the Thrashers to GFL 1 just shows how far our programme on the South Coast has progressed. Jason is the product of the Solent Redhawks (Solent University) and then the link into our club in the National Leagues. With Will Elgeti our kicker getting a CFL tryout and waiting now for news about the Specialists invites to Toronto it shows that anything is possible without the need to move to London.”
