Recruitment Update: Thrashers looking for new staff

The Solent Thrashers are looking for additional staff for our senior team in the 2018 season.

With numerous veteran coaches already in place, the club is looking for more assistant positional coaches. However, we welcome applications for other positions. If you are new to coaching, we would support your training by partnering you with an experienced coach.

The Solent Thrashers have been running since 2003 and have been competing in BAFANL Division 1 level, finishing on a winning records, including a playoff appearance in 2017. We play/train at one of the best 3G artificial all-weather pitch int he country. We have a strong and growing public profile with high quality game highlights and promotional material. We've been very effective in our recruitment drives with an ever-growing roster of rookie and veteran players. Our players are committed throughout the year resulting in high practice attendance and competitive atmosphere.

What are the requirements?

- Work closely with the head coach and other staff to plan/deliver effective training sessions;

- Be passionate about coaching rookies and veteran players;

- Be available for as many training sessions (1x Midweek & Sunday afternoons) as possible;

- Be available for as many games (home and away) as possible;

- Contribute to film analysis

- BAFCA level 1 certified (or looking to become qualified)
